Sponsorship Terms
Last updated: October 11, 2026
What organisers agree to before buying sponsor spots and placing sponsors on a league or tournament.
These Sponsorship Terms apply when you, as an organiser, buy sponsor spots from SportPadi and place sponsors on a league or tournament. They add to the SportPadi Terms of Service. By accepting them on behalf of your group, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
1. What a sponsor spot is
A sponsor spot lets you show one sponsor (a name, an optional logo and an optional link) on one league season — as its title sponsor ("presented by") or as a partner. A spot belongs to the season it was bought for and cannot be moved to another season, league, tournament or group.
SportPadi decides where and how sponsors appear (for example on the league page, website widget, table image and players' league passes) and may change the placement, size, format or number of places they appear at any time.
2. SportPadi and third-party advertising
Buying sponsor spots does not make your league or tournament pages ad-free and gives no exclusivity. SportPadi may show its own advertising and advertising from third parties it works with — including ad networks — on tournament, league, fixture, match and embedded pages and in the app, including next to, above or alongside your sponsors.
Those ads may come from businesses in the same category as, or competing with, your sponsors. SportPadi does not need your approval for them and they do not reduce what you have paid for.
3. Price, payment and no refunds
The price of a spot is shown before you pay, in your group wallet's currency, and is charged by card through SportPadi's payment provider. Spots count once the payment has been confirmed.
All sponsor spot purchases are final. Spots are non-refundable and non-transferable once bought — including if you remove a sponsor, if the season is cancelled or ends early, if SportPadi removes sponsor content under section 5, or if your group stops using SportPadi — except where a refund is required by law.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for every sponsor you place and for your arrangements with them. You confirm that:
- you have the right to use each sponsor's name, logo and link, and to display them on SportPadi;
- sponsor content is accurate, lawful and not misleading, and does not promote anything illegal, unsafe or inappropriate for the players and audience of your league — including minors;
- sponsor content complies with the SportPadi Terms of Service and any advertising rules that apply where your league runs;
- any agreement, payment or promise between you and a sponsor is between you and the sponsor — SportPadi is not a party to it.
5. Review and removal
SportPadi may review, refuse, hide or remove any sponsor content at any time, with or without notice — for example if it breaks these terms, the Terms of Service or the law, or after a complaint. Removed sponsors are not refunded.
6. Licence
You grant SportPadi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute the sponsor content you add, in connection with your league or tournament — on SportPadi's sites and apps, embedded widgets, share images and notifications — for as long as it is shown and for a reasonable time after for records and backups.
7. No guarantees
Sponsor placements are provided "as is". SportPadi does not guarantee any number of views, clicks, visitors or results, or that pages will be available at all times.
8. Liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SportPadi is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from sponsor spots, and its total liability for them is limited to the amount you paid for the spots concerned.
You agree to indemnify SportPadi against claims, losses and costs arising from the sponsor content you add, your agreements with sponsors, or your breach of these terms.
9. Changes
SportPadi may update these terms. When it does, you will be asked to accept the new version before buying more spots or adding sponsors. Spots you have already bought keep running under the version that applied when you bought them, except where the law or safety requires otherwise.
