How do I find a pickup soccer game near me?
Open Browse or a city page, pick a game and RSVP. Public games show who's hosting, where and when, and how many are going. At the pitch you scan the organiser's QR code to check in.
How many players do you need for pickup soccer?
Ten for 5-a-side, fourteen for 7-a-side, up to twenty-two for a full-sided game. Most pickup groups run 5s or 7s so a game happens even on a quiet week. SportPadi builds the teams from whoever checks in, so odd numbers still work.
How are teams picked?
Automatically from the players who checked in — a fair shuffle, or smart balancing by position and strength on paid plans. Organisers can also run a captain draft or move players by hand.
Does it cost anything to play?
Joining SportPadi is free. Some organisers charge a pitch fee per game or monthly dues; those are shown on the event and paid in the app, and a required ticket is checked at the gate.
